I talked to Joe, the owner about a job that another company bailed on. Not only does he know what he is doing, he is professional, honest, and will make sure you get taken care of. After the other company bailed on the job, I called a couple other companies and these guys were the only ones willing to help. This is a tough industry, and its likely hard to retain good employees. Nice to know there is someone like Joe out there to help with these shitty situations. Will be recommending to family and friends.

Had a backup with all the rain not allowing normal flow and Peter came Monday morning not only drained but trouble shooted a blockage. Friendly and knowledgeable and would recommend. Side note we did the digging ourselves to save time and money.

We had an unfortunate situation with our septic and needed it serviced asap. They were so nice and helpful and were able to come out the very next morning it was a little pricier than I thought but i was okay with it and other companies were able to come out for over a week or so. When they showed up they were very nice, professional and it was even raining when he came and gave us very helpful advice on how to maintain it so our problem wouldn't happen again.

Great experience from start to finish. Fiberglass does not bend. Don't believe them if your septic company tells you they can't empty your fiberglass septic tank COMPLETELY because it will lose its shape. It is also normal to have a thick crust under the lead.

I decided to call Sludgebusters Septic after a smaller local company said they wouldn't be emptying my septic tank completely, and I never regretted it. He pumped the tank as expected and gave me some helpful tips about other issues I had. I got more than expected and wouldn't hesitate to call again. Very happy!

Our septic tank was WAYYYY over due to be pumped out. We had narrowed it down to Sludgebusters or Abbot. We finally chose Sludgebusters and made the call. The lady that answered the phone was so nice and got us scheduled for the following week, since we were not in any hurry.

The truck pulled up to our yard on time, with the Abbot logo on it. It turns out that it is now one company with two names. Peter introduced himself and went to work, but still took the time to explain everything to us that we asked or needed to know. He is a nice person and we are very impressed with his work.

Very reasonably price, especially considering he hand dug out the tank covering with a shovel, through the hard California DG in our yard, and we hadn't kept up with routine maintenance. We will be using them again.

This was my first experience with septic pumping and do to some bad advise I hadn't had the tank pumped for over ten years so there was some damage to the tank lid and baffle wall. Walt and Jason were my technicians, they showed up on time and got the job done quickly. Walt called in and got me good pricing on the needed repairs...

Update: The repairs were done the following week and at the cost quoted. Ed and Brad did a great job and were a wealth of knowledge of all things "shitty" (sorry, can't help myself!) :-)

We had to have a septic inspection done to purchase our home.. Peter was absolutely brilliant! We are first timers for septic & had a lot of questions. Peter answered all of them w/enthusiasm. It's hard to imagine a person could be enthusiastic about septic.. but Peter showed a passion for thoroughly understanding all details regarding his job, that I was shocked a bit.

I had a real emergency last month...the septic backed up into all 3 bathrooms ! I called a highly respected service which never showed up, so had to wait over the weekend, called SB early Monday morning, explained how desperate I was, and I was scheduled that day ! Father and son were very professional and knowledgeable about my predicament, which had them trying to find the tank without our knowing where the tank was even located ! It was a very scary time, needless to say, but they finally found the tank (gotta have a nose for this kinda business) The price quoted was very reasonable for the amount of time it took, etc. We couldn't be happier to have had this fine, family-run business to have done the job...thanks again guys !

Tenant at our rental house in Ramona contacted me on Saturday night that water was backing up in the house. We bought the place 3 years ago and supposedly the septic tank was pumped by Sludgebusters at that time Seems they were lying about that as they hadn't been there before. Regardless, Pete came today (Monday) and pumped the tank after the tenant and I dug up the lids. Great service by Pete and problem solved. Gave us advice on keeping the system in good shape.Tenant very happy. Will be installing risers to make it easy next time. Now to do the ones at our main house.

These guys are awesome! I just bought a home in Julian and about 6 days in my downstairs bathrooms flooded.

I have a septic system which is new to me. All I had to go by was some paperwork from an inspection done in March. SLUDGEBUSTERS was closed by the time I got home from work to this disaster. I called the emergency phone number online and within an hour, Edward and his partner were here, in Julian handeling what turned out to be a clogged pipe leading to the system due to the house sitting for almost a year. They explained what happened and here comes the kicker.....they didnt charge us because they had just been out in March. THANK YOU SLUDGEBUSTERS, EDWARD AND HIS PARTNER for helping us out!! The entire staff was very responsive to our pretty immediate needs and never once were upset with a few and frequent phone calls...the technician Peter was/is terrific and is the very postive face of this local company.

Rudy and Daniel are now my "septic tank" team forever. Awesome experience. They showed up on time and got right to work and had my problem solved in about 30 minutes.

NONE of my drains were working and everything pointed towards a problem with my septic tank. Rudy knew what it was the second they got the tank lid off. There was a "log jam" (heh) in the incoming baffle, which he quickly knocked out. He also trimmed the pipe coming into the baffle to help prevent the problem from happening in the future and didn't charge any extra for that.

He asked if I wanted the septic tank pumped so i asked how much sludge was in it - he stuck a shovel in and told me there was no reason to have it pumped today. He could have easily said I needed it pumped and made an extra couple hundred bucks - that alone really impressed me.

I am SUPER happy I chose them to do the work and they will be my 'go to" company for my septic system.

Ed and Brad did a fantastic job. They were able to fit us in quickly, arrived right on time and were very knowledgeable. I appreciated them taking the time to explain what needed to be done and answering all of our questions. They clearly take pride in their work and have the experience to troubleshoot issues related to plumbing and septic tank functioning. Great work, great people. We highly recommend!

Ed was awesome. I called this morning to see if he could come out today because our toilet was backing up into the shower and he was here before 2 p.m. and had it pumped and working again. I really appreciated his quick response.

This company really knows about customer service. An emergency arose at my house (the day before Thanksgiving) and I had 24 people coming for dinner. Sludgebusters was the only business that would help me out and allowed our celebration to take place. Every other business was "out" for the holiday! Wow! We had an issue with our tank on a Sunday morning. I called several places and, only Sludgebusters had an Emergency Phone Number easily visible on their website. I called the number and it was answered right away by Ed which was awesome. He was out at our place within 2 hrs (he was finishing up another job when I called) and took care of the problem.
